Vallée du Rhône (bio) - AOC Cairanne 2018 "Vieilles Vignes"
Beautiful garnet red robe with ruby reflections. The wine is dark but limpid. The nose instinctively develops powerful notes of black fruits and spices. Wild blackberry, a touch of blackcurrant and blueberry quickly take over. Then, powdery aromas of cocoa bean and balsamic notes complete the bouquet when aired.

The vineyard is composed of 30 hectares in the commune of Cairanne, on the left bank of the Rhône. It is mainly composed of old vines, some of which are over a hundred years old.
The vines, established on half slopes, as well as the different grape varieties used, bring their richness to the estate's wines.
The clay-limestone terroir, stony on the surface, allows good drainage. Its south-facing sunshine favours generous and well-structured wines.
The old vines are strengthened and only the dead vines are replaced by plants of massal selections. Thus, the Cairanne cuvées have a natural yield of less than 30 hectolitres/hectare..
