Bourgogne - Macon La Roche Vineuse - Château de la Greffière

Dry wine typical of the region, rhyming with conviviality. Contemplate the beautiful straw-yellow gold colour, smell its citrus aromas (grapefruit, tangerine) and savour its beautiful minerality and then its nuances of pine and quince at the end of the mouth.

Goes superbly as an aperitif, or for example with poultry, risottos, fish, snails and goat's cheese.

A typical Mâconnais house with an old vatting house, now transformed into a museum, testify to the presence of a wine-growing activity as early as 1585. The vaulted cellar was then built in 1789 and finally the château, a success of its past, was built in 1830. In 1924, the Greuzard family acquired the estate and has been restoring it ever since.
