At the northern limit of the southern Rhône valley, south of Bollène, Gigondas covers 21 communes of the Drôme provencle. Set in a landscape of garrigue where vines rub shoulders with olive trees and lavender on a wide variety of soils, the vineyard produces wines with different profiles.

The Gigondas rouge, a prestigious cru of the Rhône Valley, is a wine for laying down, very colourful, full-bodied and long. It offers a rich bouquet with fine and spicy aromas. It reaches its full maturity between 4 and 10 years and sometimes even much longer. Powerful and full-bodied, it is an ideal accompaniment to game, red meat in sauce or grilled, certain cheeses.
